Bunyoro and the Albertine Route
Entebbe, Hoima, Lake Albert
Fly or drive from Entebbe to Hoima and begin with a cultural visit to the Bunyoro Kingdom palace and royal tombs. The evening brings the team meet and greet, with a shared local meal to open the trip.
The next day heads down to Lake Albert for a boat cruise along the shoreline, followed by a stop in a fishing community to see how the catch is landed and smoked. From there the group spends time on a farm in Kagadi, walking the coffee and cocoa gardens and joining in on the processing, all included.
The trip winds down with a wellness afternoon back at the lodge, a quiet close to a route that carries less name recognition than the other three but gives a group something genuinely unclaimed.
