Queen Elizabeth and the Water Route
Entebbe, Kasese, Queen Elizabeth National Park
Fly from Entebbe to Kasese and drive into Queen Elizabeth National Park. The first evening is a team meet and greet at the lodge, overlooking the park as the sun goes down.
The centerpiece is a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, watching hippos, elephants, and birdlife from the water. The group then treks into Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee tracking, followed by a visit to a women's coffee cooperative in the area, another full, hands on farm and roasting experience.
Before heading back to Kasese for the return flight, the group stops at the Katwe salt lake community to see the hand mining tradition still practiced there, then closes with a wellness afternoon at the lodge, resting up before departure.
